Thanks Joe! I tend to scope out the scene and plan the shot out first...moreso for the landscape and architecture. I'll pinpoint the more crucial landmarks with dots if the background is too complex...kind of like fenceposting/tentpoling with animation keyposes so I don't get lost with the perspective. (You may notice it doesn't always work, but I try!) I do my best to stay focused, and then I just try to draw as fast as I can beginning with a random character, ususally in the middle-ground. People come and go, so sometimes I need to frankenstein some groups together. Hope that makes sense=)

Your process makes sense! But still that's a monumental effort and it turns out pretty neat. It'd be interesting if you colored one of them. Very inspiring sketches!
