Here's a scene from outside the shopping centers in Dongdaemun where the streets are littered with street vendors and nighttime shoppers.

On my way for some shopping in Dongdaemun, I came across a live concert taking place right on the Cheonggyecheon River. It was a great place for some people-watching, but I unfortunately had to make it quick since it was getting dark.

It's been a while since I've updated this blog...I've been pretty busy with my last two projects at work and now that I'm on vacation, I thought it'd be a great time to revive this place with some sketches.

Kind of frustrating that it's been so long that I've gotten quite rusty, but I hope to sketch a lot more from now on. After I wrapped on my last assignment, I immediately took off to reunite with some family in South Korea, and then went to Japan for the first time. I found some time to sketch during my touring of these countries, and wanted to share them with you. Thanks in advance for coming by and paying me a visit=)

LAS VEGAS! continued again

After a quick nap upstairs back at the MGM after Club Tao, I headed downstairs for some good ol' McD's...

...I then proceeded to the casino for some gambling...and some sketching...


....two security guards approached me while I sat in a vacant slot machine seat sketching the lone lady up there and asked what I was doing. I told them "drawing"and they asked to look at my sketchbook...



They spoke into their walkie talkies labelling it a "Code 4" and took my driver's license to log my name into their system. They mentioned to their superiors that I seemed to draw only females but everything looked innocent. They said I looked suspicious and that I'm no longer allowed to sketch in their casino anymore.

It's been quite a while since I've posted anything...I've been extremely busy at work and now that I've just returned from a friend's Bachelor Party in Vegas, it's sort of rebooted my life a bit...it was a long overdue vacation that I'll never forget! I was able to find some time to do some sketches throughout the madness...
