I went to court AGAIN for a separate ticket to ask for an extension, so I sketched people while waiting in line. Waiting goes by so much faster when drawing people...

I went to Sketchcrawl late again! I didn't run into any other sketchers, either... I think I was on the wrong side! Very lonely. But here's some more regardless. Kind of windy that Saturday...

Bomba Estéreo at Stern Grove Festival on Sunday. Traffic court in SF for Red Light Ticket on Monday.

I never been to Stern Grove, but DAMN! Great place to sketch and the music was CRAZY good. The next morning I had to wake up early to fight one of my two red light tickets. Drew some people there while waiting...the row of women didn't appreciate it.

Hawaii/LA Vacation + Ferry Building/Union Square

Hello, everyone...I recently came back from a 2-week vacation to Hawaii and Los Angeles. It was a much-needed rest and escape from reality. I made some interesting memories...but NOT without some sketching! Here are some more...

Sketchcrawl and Culturefest!

Hope everybody's doing well...I haven't posted anything in a while! It's been pretty busy at work but I'm hoping to lose myself in some hobbies this summer. Mainly writing, but hopefully some sketching just as much. Sketchcrawl just introduced me to a gold mine for sketching fun characters: The Ferry Building. I had no idea there was a farmer's market every weekend that drew so many people. Is it like that every time? Unfortunately, I made it late to the sketchcrawl and eventually had to head over to Union Square leaving me only a few sketches from the Ferry Building. I'm definitely going back! It was overwhelming how many different people of all shapes and sizes were interacting with each other.

The next day I stopped by the Culturefest in Oakland/Temescal area and sketched a few people and some performers. I wish I had woken up earlier to run BaytoBreakers then sketch afterwards but better luck next year.
