Japan Part V: The Ghibli Museum

One of the highlights of my trip to Japan was definitely going to the Ghibli Museum. A huge fan of Miyazaki and animation in general I was completely lost inside and did not want to leave! I didn't have much time to sketch...and even when I did I found myself feeling very guilty of drawing instead of admiring the artwork that was already there. It was so inspirational. I only sketched in the museum's cafe...I couldn't do it inside, just way too much to marvel at!

What a place-I'd love to visit! Did you see the new Miyazaki film?

Thank you, Craig!

And yes, Matt, you would love it! I saw "The Wind Rises" here...is that what you're talking about? Otherwise, they did show a short film about a witch and her egg which I enjoyed VERY MUCH SO! And for free...as soon as I entered the museum they gave me a ticket to watch the short in their very own theatre...such a great experience=)
